World Peace Pavilion Opened in 1995 by visiting foreign ministers at the G7 summit, this inspiring pavilion celebrates peace and diversity. The pavilion displays rocks and bricks that have come from all over the world, symbolizing all cultures and their presence on earth. Over 70 countries and have participated in this display of amity, and the display includes many important pieces, including a chunk of the Great Wall of China and a brick from the Berlin Wall. A replica of the original schooner Bluenose, which appears on the Canadian Dime, Bluenose II is moored at the wharf of the Maritime Museum in Halifax. Two-hour harbour sailings are available.
