Open from Wednesday to Sunday, this gallery exhibits the works of photographer from all over Nova Scotia. Located downtown Halifax, this space features various group and solo shows, as well as events, which provide photographers with the opportunity to share their work and discuss the art form.
This gallery and studio displays the work of several artists who work in-studio. Opened in 2001, Turnstile regularly runs classes and workshops to teach interested individuals the art of pottery.
Open by appointment only, this artist-run gallery features the work of locally-born oil painter, Clyde Henneberry. An array of paintings portraying life in Eastern Passage are on display.
A gallery with samples of fine art to enrich the day of any traveler. Sample the artist’s view of his world and his vision of things that surround Nova Scotia. Watch him in his studio as he transfers the raw thought into a vision on canvas.
For over 25 years this artist-run collective exhibits a variety of work. Past exhibitions have displayed the work of local artists such as Carl Zimmerman, Emily Jones and Iris Porter. Types of art on display range from textiles and glass to pottery and multimedia.
